The role: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

You will be our first in-house Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer and be joining the Product team. In order to give our customers an experience, they can’t get enough of, we depend on our QA engineer for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.

Our product teams have the freedom and authority to create impactful products to empower both our internal and external users. We use an agile development methodology, meaning we deploy code multiple times per day while ensuring our applications are rigorously tested and statically analyzed.

Job requirements

What you’ll do

  • Test current products and identifying deficiencies;
  • Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction;
  • Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy;
  • Collaborate with the Product team to ensure consistent project execution;
  • Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement;
  • Oversee continuous improvement projects;
  • Collect and maintain quality data;
  • Identify key KPIs for product quality;

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or any Engineering discipline;
  • 3+ years of experience with test automation;
  • Supporting Agile team in release processes (e.g. manual acceptance testing, release monitoring);
  • Experience with test automation framework development;
  • Understanding of CI/CD test and build automation (or helping with establishing CI/CD pipelines);
  • Plus: Leadership experience with setting up new QA processes and evaluating new test frameworks
  • Plus: Experience with web test automation frameworks like Selenium, Selenoid or similar
  • Plus: Experience with load and stress testing with stools such as JMeter, Gatling, Locust or
  • Plus: Non-functional testing: data-focused testing (e.g. large data sets preparation for test scenarios, processing of analytics events, integration between systems), load, performance testing setup (tools like JMeter, Gatling, Locust)
